Hi all,
i found "Reason codes and messages" from Gateway's HTML Help file.
but I know that there is more "last end reason" codes and its detail messages.
such as,
030 - User Cancellation
080 - Latest transfer date reached
201 - VFD duplicate file detected
...
i could find these messages at 'statistics' tab in the 'Transfer Request' Info (from Gateway Navigator) when these 'end reason' actually occurs. but i want to know about these codes and messages before uncommon end reasons like this happens.
where can i get these information?
thanks and regards
where can I get more specific “Reason codes and messages”?

Pluggable Transport Development Question
Published in June 26th, 2010

Hello All,
I trying to create a Pluggable Transport in GI using the SDK. Is it possible for for me to get the consumptionID for the invoked Integration pickup point in the List method. I know that in the Consume method I can use message meta data to retrieve the consumptionID but I am not aware of any means to get it in the list method.
If not consumptionID is there any other identifier I can use within the List method with will uniquely represent the Integration Pickup Point.
Thanks and Regards
Rahul

Error on the server:

Changing the folder path of GI SFTP Embedded server
Published in June 21st, 2010

Hello All,
I have created an embedded SFTP server in Gateway Interchange. The Embedded server requires me to create a user and folder path. The folder path that is created for the user is relative to the SFTP Embedded Server?s. i.e. ?Gateway_Interchange\common\data\ssh\users\integration\XXUSERXX
Question: Is there any possible configuration or hack to set absolute path for the Embedded SFTP server i.e. not use default path ?Gateway_Interchange\common\data\ssh\users\integration\? but use a different location.
Thanks, Rahul

Non-Event Alerts
Published in June 15th, 2010

Hey everybody,
I'm currently trying to work out the best way to create alerting for what I call "non-events", as in transfers for which an expected event does not occur. For example, we may use Gateway (XFB) to reach out to a remote site and do a directory listing every 15 minutes for a file that we expect at the top of every hour. XFB isn't smart enough out of the box to know not to execute a scheduled event when the first instance of that event was successful, so we're stuck executing every 15 minutes.
In Sentinel, I could create a correlation rule that says if the directory listing returns a 0 byte file (meaning no files listed), to create an alert. Unfortunately we may get the file on the 2nd instance of the scheduled pull, in which case the alert would be valid. Likewise, were I to schedule an alert for the event that the directory listing on the 2nd instance of the scheduled pull was empty, we don't necessarily want to create an alert because the 1st instance may have retrieved the file.
Has anybody found a useful way to handle this in Sentinel/Gateway?
Thanks all,
Tony Lloyd
