Greetings. This is my first post to any of the Axway forums. Please point me to the correct forum if Sentinel is not the right one.
My company has recently migrated into using Axway for file transfers. I’m an applications developer, not directly involved in the Axway installation or operations.
I have access to the Sentinel monitoring tool, where I can check the status of file transfers. This is fine for doing spot checks, but I’m looking for a way to access the same information in an automated way.
Our previous file transfer tool allowed us to execute SQL queries into the underlying db from unix scripts, to verify if a certain file transfer actually completed. I have been told that it is not possible to run queries into the Axway db, but I’m hoping that I just haven’t asked the right people.
I’ll appreciate any help you can provide on this.
