Hi All,
Is anyone able to use external SMTP sever (account) which requires authentication for sending event alerts ?
I’m tracking this case since version 5.4.2 and it’s working only with open relay servers or server which doesn’t require authentication for delivery within local domain.
As far as I remember since version 5.5.0 “System Managment -> Configure the global external SMTP server” there is an option Test which is not working at all, can anyone confirm it?
Under current version 5.7.1 SP6 it’s still not working as expected.
Any suggestions or help will be approciated.
