Hello - last week Axway participated at the HIMSS annual conference & exhibition in Chicago. In conjunction with the conference, we announced that our recently-formed partnership with Edifecs will provide integrated migration solutions for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) modifications recently disclosed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Additionally, these solutions will support companies with Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange’s (WEDI) Strategic National Implementation Process (SNIP) Type 1-7 testing, and provide validation and error reporting capabilities to trading partners.

The updated X12 standard Version 5010 is one of two final rules in the new HIPAA mandatesi to facilitate the U.S. transition to an electronic healthcare environment. It includes new guidelines for claims, eligibility inquiries, referral authorization, remittance advice and more. It adopts an updated version of the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) standard, and a standard for Medicaid pharmacy subrogation transactions.

Hi,

When using only one XMS queue for all XWS clients definitions the following has been discovered.

It seems that when the number of XWS clients is increased, between 20-70, the messages are not consumed as quickly as before. A message can be available for minutes in the queue before it’s consumed and sent. Up to more than 7 minutes in the worst case, when all clients are started but still, sometimes they are consumed fairly quick. When the the number of clients are reduces, i.e. services are stopped, there is no delays anymore. I guess 10 services works well.

Is there a limitation of how many clients that can be assigned to one queue or is there any specific configuration needed ?

Grateful for any advice is this matter

Hi,

I am replacing a flat file to edifact mapping with a flat file to xml mapping.

the edifact version will create a new output object for each order, however the xml one shows multiple output in the datatree in datamapper simulator but when you look at the objects produced (in simulator or running in xib proper) then only the last order is shown.

I’m using XIB 2.1.1 Sp2 with datamapper 3.1.0

I guess I can get around this with object mapping but the adf for the xml is 26 mb as is - any suggestion on how to do this with normal mapping? I keep having to close datamapper due to memory issues…

Hello,

I need some help concerning a cluster environment, indeed I’m facing some troubles specifically for inbound transmissions.
For outbound transmissions everything is working fine, I mean the load balacing do its job.
But for inbound, I am unable to get a real load balancing, worst if the node present on my first host is off, then the whole process is disabled, however I think that i should be able to use my environment even if the node on 1st machine is down.
My partner is trying unsuccessfully to connect to my community trhough “http://ipMachine1:4080/exchange/ZZXXX”…
Has someone an idea if this situation is normal or if I miss something ??
