I haven’t seen any indication as to what it actually is, what it costs, etc. My understanding is that it’s a scaled down version of Gateway with data transformation utilities. I’d love to see a copy though see how it works and what it does.

export / import config for DR

Hi,

We’re setting up a disaster recovery site and need to make sure that configuration is consistent between the production and DR servers.

I’ve looked at using Oracle data guard but this will also copy across message details, I’ve also looked at Peer Networking but this was too expensive for our needs.

Are there any other simple command line options for exporting / importing configuration?

“tools/exportProfile” exports communities as a trading partner profiles rather than as a community so is of no use (other than for copying the partners)
From the documentation it looks like the only way to export the community is to do it via the GUI (”Back up this community and its partners”) - but I want to do this using a nightly script rather then relying on a manual process.

Also it’s not clear if the collaboration settings, integration delivery, integration pickup, etc. can be exported at all.

Any suggestions?

How to set Java Perspective in Map Designer

Today when you have install Map Designer on your environnement and you want to use a Java Perspective to develop in the same tools some Java Program you have to follow this step:

Configure in Map Designer the proxy is your are on the SOPRA network. Windows > Preferences and after select the folder General -> Network connections and set the proxy configuration to ptx.proxy.corp.sopra with the port number 8080.
Select the option, Help > Software update > Find and configuration and select the option search for new feature to install anc click Next. Add the following 2 remote site http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/ganymede and http://download.eclipse.org/releases/ganymede and click on Finish.
select one mirro site for example the US Ibiblio and after select Java development and the Java perspective must be install
