I’m from the UK (Citi Bank).

We are running a CFT installation V231 p-2-7 on a AS/400 (OS/400 V5r2) at the moment to push and pull files from a Solaris host. The parmfile is currently configured to use an IP address for the host, which appears to be restricted to a maximum of 10 characters. 1) Is this a physical restriction to this version on OS/400? 2) Can it be increased? 3) and Can DNS name be used instead of an IP address?

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
