I tried to use the directory scanning with Gateway 6.11.4 on the LAN.
I must give the Modify right to the group “All User” for this to work.
I don’t like this option for security reason…
What is the user used by gateway to access the directory to scan ?

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with a 6.9.1 Gateway server when i tries to enable Sentinel link with it. It worked fine the first day, but now, my log file is fulfilled by these messages :

I have checked lot of things, and I don’t know what exactly cause these messages. Sentinel is now empty, it cannot grab the data of the Gateway, and I don’t knwo why.

If anybody has an idea, it will well appreciate.

Hi All,

We have recently reinstalled our gateway on Linux machine which was used to be on AIX, Now I come acrros a problem to export the certificate/keys installed on old environment to new environment.

In the XFB document guide it is mentioned that export certificate function does not avialable in XFB 6.8.5.

Exporting a certificate: secadm export_cert
[Command not currently available.]

Any of you have any idea how to import all the certificates and keys to the new environment ?

Where do they locate in the file system(certificate store) ?

Appreciate any one could comment as im really in need to getting this done ASAP

Hi,

I need to trigger the start of an application by the existence of at least one file out of three.
I couldn’t find out a solution with 3 ressources.

I have those files :
- ????_PS.avis
- ????_PM.avis
- ????_CH.avis

I managed to find a workaround using only one ressource with the generic file name : CH.avis|PM.avis|PS.avis<
(The file has to finish by one of the three groups of letters).
But this workaround would not have been possible if the files names weren’t that close.

Would anybody know how to do that whith one ressource for each file ?

Hey all, I’m trying to find some basic/sample style dashboards for Gateway, Integrator, Transfer, Logs, UA stuff. and any kind of system dashboards or generic type of OS stuff. I’m putting together a repository for such dashboards and think it would be really cool to have a place we could all access these to play with/expand on, and since it’s as simple as exporting an XML file I thought people might be interested in sharing. I’ll set up a place to upload ASAP for the community site launch Monday, but I’d like to see if anybody had anybody to share early?

All,
I am using HTTP TA as server in asynchronous dialog mode and it uses single connection for receiving and sending response. The timeout value for the response is 120. Two days back, i got a weird problem - I received a request say A and it got timed out before the processing is done and so timeout is returned back. And in meanwhile i received another say B and it was successfully processed but while responding it had sent back the response for request A.

I tried to find out what happened but the logger entry are not available for these requests.
More to this, this problem occurred for 2 minutes and after that every thing started working properly.

Any body faced this problem before? Any solutions or suggestions would be of great help!!!

Hi all,

We’re running a gateway that communciate through XSR (in DMZ) we are interested in setting up AS2 connections. We’ve made all of our tests with the certificate provided with the product.

Now we are tempting to go live but before we need to buy an SSL certificate. We created the CSR with openssl (on Windows) and we submit it to Verisign. But Verisign is coming back to us because we did create the CSR with our domain name and it seems incorrect. What they need to know is the name used in the communcation:

o Is it the IP address (192.xx.xx.xx)
o Is it the Netbios name (gemma.xx.xx)
o Is it the DNS name (still to define: e.g. axgwy.xx.xx)
o Or another name

Any help on this subject would be useful, this is the first time we buy a certificate for this kind of soft and the process is not really clear.
